There are several things you should consider before you leave home and garden supply store. Here are five.

What kind of first container using. If you think functional, so that all the plastic pots or plastic buckets or other containers, and even the right size will do. If you can reuse the pot you already have is even better!

If you think you can use a decorative timber (plastic coating is highly recommended), ceramic (can be beautiful but fragile), clay (which are porous and dry quickly, so will the water frequently) or a standard clay pot (but beware the heart of the stain on the surface).

2nd What type of land use. For growing in pots, you will not use ordinary garden soil because it does not break well, and generally not empty well.

Use potting soil, especially in shallow containers, allowing plant roots spread easily and allow good drainage. If you choose to use a bowl, always with the fertilizer, but can be mixed into garden soil, too. Each house has a garden fountain and soil needs.

What good third seed. In short, hybrid seed is very good. The fundamental difference between hybrids and traditional seeds is that plants grown from hybrid seeds do not produce fertile seeds of their own. So for the most part, buy new seed every year at your local home supply store garden is easy, but for those who do not have heirloom occasions, and harvesting of seeds to choose from cultures they produce.

4. What is the location. If you are one of the few lucky souls who live in areas that are warm all year, put the dish on the deck or patio or yard is fine. Make sure you have good sun (usually in South or South-West is best). If you have containers in the room, you can put in the waiting room, covered terrace, sundeck, or wherever you get the best exposure to the sun. Make sure you take care of wood floors and other surfaces that do not want to dye.

5. What happens to the water. The number of watering depends on your plants grow. Watering frequency depends also on the porous nature of container use. Materials such as wood or clay is very porous and dries more quickly than glazed ceramic or plastic.
